There are moments when a photoshoot becomes more than just a session—it becomes history in the making.
I recently had the profound honor of photographing Mary Beth Sewald, President & CEO of the Vegas Chamber, alongside three remarkable women who are not only shaping Southern Nevada’s future—but making history while they do it:
Mayor Carolyn Goodman, City of Las Vegas
Mayor Pamela Goynes-Brown, City of North Las Vegas
Mayor Michelle Romero, City of Henderson
To have all three mayors of Nevada’s largest cities—together, in one frame—has never been done before. This moment wasn’t just about leadership. It was about legacy, representation, and the collective vision these women carry for our region.
As a Las Vegas headshot and branding photographer, I’ve had the privilege of working with many inspiring professionals—but this shoot was different. This was a celebration of female power, civic leadership, and community progress.
During the session, I created both group portraits and individual headshots for each of these incredible women. And afterward, all of them shared something that moved me deeply: that these were the most beautiful portraits and headshots they had ever received.
Since then, their images have been proudly used across press releases, social media, speaking engagements, and public-facing platforms—a true testament to the power of intentional photography that captures both presence and purpose.
These portraits are more than just professional images. They are visual records of leadership in action—an affirmation that the face of Southern Nevada’s future is powerful, wise, and proudly female.
To Mary Beth and the three mayors: thank you for allowing me to witness and preserve this extraordinary gathering. And to anyone who sees these images—I hope you feel what I felt behind the lens: strength, unity, and a deep sense that we are watching something historic unfold.
