When we look back at history, we don’t just see buildings—we see the people who shaped the future. Leaders leave a legacy, and portraits are a beautiful way to preserve that legacy for generations to come.
I’m incredibly honored to have had the opportunity to photograph Mayor Shelley Berkley, capturing her strength, determination and vision. These are wonderful traits that will benefit our city. Her leadership is already shaping the next chapter for Las Vegas, and I’m grateful to play a small role in documenting this moment in time.
As Workforce Connections continues its mission to develop a strong workforce for the future of Southern Nevada, it’s inspiring to see leaders who champion economic growth, workforce development and opportunity for all. This portrait reminds me that there are always people behind all progress—leaders who make an impact today as they help build a better tomorrow.
A heartfelt thank you to Mayor Shelley Berkley and her team for trusting me with this portrait. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love what I do—because every image I have the honor to capture is more than a photograph; it’s a moment in history.
